Claude Training Courses in the UK

Most people try Claude, get a few useful answers and stop there. These courses show you how to get far more from it, whether you’re writing your first request or building tools you’ll use every week.

The programme runs from a beginner’s first day, through personalising Claude with preferences, memory, skills and Projects, to working with Claude directly inside Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Every course is instructor-led and hands-on, built around real tasks such as summarising documents, cleaning data, drafting emails, building reports and preparing presentations.

Courses run live online, at our London training centre, or on-site at your organisation, and can be tailored to your team.

FAQs

Not for Claude Essentials, which is designed for complete beginners. Claude Skills, Memory and Projects assumes you’ve already used Claude or Copilot Chat. Claude in Microsoft Office assumes you’re comfortable in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Start with Claude Essentials if you’re new to Claude. If you already use it regularly, choose Claude Skills, Memory and Projects. If most of your work happens in Office, choose Claude in Microsoft Office.

It depends on the course. The free plan works for nearly all of Claude Essentials. Claude Skills, Memory and Projects needs a paid plan (Pro or above), and skills need the code execution setting switched on. Claude in Microsoft Office needs any paid plan, as the Office add-ins aren’t on the free plan. If you’re unsure, ask us before booking.

In Claude Essentials you work in the Claude chat window, for example asking it to create a Word document or an Excel formula. In Claude in Microsoft Office, Claude works inside Excel, Word and PowerPoint through the add-ins, on the file you have open.

A skill is a set of instructions that makes Claude follow your preferred format or style every time. A Project is a workspace with its own instructions and files. An artifact is something Claude creates for you, such as an interactive dashboard. The Skills, Memory and Projects course shows you when to use each.

Claude Essentials includes a module on privacy: consumer and business accounts, how your data may be used for training, how long it’s kept, and how to check your privacy setting and use incognito chats.
