This group brings together JBI Training's Practical Leadership workshops — a focused suite of one-day courses designed for managers, team leaders, and senior professionals navigating the specific challenges of leading people in today's AI-driven workplace. Each workshop addresses a high-stakes leadership skill — handling difficult conversations, negotiating effectively, resolving conflict, and communicating with clarity and authority — within the context of how AI is reshaping team dynamics, workplace relationships, and the expectations placed on leaders.

The workshops are practical and interactive, combining frameworks and techniques with real workplace scenarios so delegates leave with skills they can apply immediately. All courses are available as one-day sessions in London, live online, or as customised onsite programmes delivered to leadership and management teams across any sector.

JBI Training offers four one-day practical leadership workshops designed for managers, team leaders, and senior professionals. Available courses are Difficult Conversations with Confidence in Human and AI-Driven Workplace, Effective Negotiation for Leaders in Human and AI-Driven Workplace, Conflict Resolution for Leaders in Human and AI-Driven Workplace, and Leadership Communication Essentials in Human and AI-Driven Workplace. All four workshops are available as scheduled classroom sessions in London, as live online instructor-led training, or as customised onsite programmes for leadership and management teams.
The Difficult Conversations with Confidence course is a one-day practical workshop for managers and team leaders who need to handle challenging interpersonal situations at work with clarity and composure. It covers frameworks for preparing for and structuring difficult conversations, techniques for staying calm and focused under pressure, how to deliver honest feedback without damaging relationships, managing emotional reactions — both your own and the other person's — and how to reach a constructive outcome even when the conversation starts from a place of conflict or disagreement. The course also addresses the specific dynamics that AI tools introduce — such as conversations about performance in AI-augmented roles or discussing job redesign in response to automation — making it directly relevant to the leadership challenges professionals face today.
The Effective Negotiation for Leaders course is a one-day workshop covering practical negotiation techniques for managers and senior professionals who negotiate regularly — whether with team members, stakeholders, suppliers, or colleagues across an organisation. It covers the principles of interest-based negotiation, how to prepare effectively for a negotiation, understanding and working with different negotiating styles, techniques for reaching mutually beneficial outcomes, how to handle deadlock and high-pressure tactics, and how to negotiate effectively in the context of AI-driven change — such as negotiating scope, resource allocation, or role definitions as teams adapt to new AI tools and workflows. Delegates leave with a practical negotiation framework they can apply immediately in their professional context.
The Conflict Resolution for Leaders course is a one-day workshop for managers and team leaders who are responsible for identifying, managing, and resolving conflict within their teams and across organisational boundaries. It covers how to distinguish productive disagreement from destructive conflict, how to intervene early before conflict escalates, mediation techniques for bringing parties to a constructive resolution, how to address conflict that arises from AI-driven workplace changes — such as team members with different views on automation, role changes, or algorithmic decision-making — and how to create a team culture where disagreement is handled openly and constructively rather than avoided or suppressed. The workshop uses realistic scenarios and role-play exercises to build practical confidence.
The Leadership Communication Essentials course is a one-day workshop covering the core communication skills that effective leaders need to influence, motivate, and align their teams. Topics include communicating with clarity and authority in meetings, presentations, and one-to-one conversations, active listening and reading the room, adapting communication style to different audiences, giving and receiving feedback constructively, communicating change and uncertainty in a way that builds rather than undermines trust, and communicating effectively in an AI-augmented workplace where messages are increasingly mediated by digital tools, AI assistants, and asynchronous channels. It is suited to managers at any level who want to strengthen their communication presence and impact.
Leadership challenges have always included managing people through change, but AI is introducing a particular kind of change — one that affects roles, workflows, and the nature of work itself at a pace that many organisations and their leaders are still adapting to. Conversations about automation, role redesign, algorithmic performance monitoring, and the emotional impact of AI on teams are becoming more common in workplaces, and leaders need frameworks and confidence to handle them constructively. JBI's leadership workshops are positioned specifically for this context — helping leaders navigate both the timeless interpersonal challenges of management and the distinctive dynamics that AI adoption introduces into team relationships and organisational culture.
Yes. All four leadership workshops can be delivered as customised closed-group programmes for corporate leadership and management teams, onsite at your organisation's premises or online. Content and scenarios can be tailored to the organisation's sector, culture, leadership framework, and the specific people challenges the team is working through — such as managing teams through a technology transformation, handling conflict arising from hybrid working, or developing communication skills for senior leadership roles. JBI has delivered leadership and management development programmes for organisations including the BBC, NHS, RBS, Sky, EDF, and Capita, spanning team leaders, middle management, and senior executive audiences.
