A member of the big four accounting firms is utilising Azure Data Factory, in collaboration with their internal set up, to analyse their data. In recent years there are significant levels of data being produced in all fields and certainly more in the field of accounting. The ever-growing amount of information must be interpreted to gain value from it and Azure Data Factory provides a cloud based service to manage and maximise the data.
The firm dictated to JBI Training that they wanted a 2 day course to train employees that are new to the data analyst team about Azure Data Factory. The course was run in person with about 10 attendees, allowing the trainer ample time to answer any questions and easily solve problems that the delegates had. This resulted in positive feedback about the course and a potential follow up once the team has had time to digest and put into practice the information they received in the session. Here is some of the feedback received:
“I liked the theory element of the course which gave me a good understanding of the role of databricks and a data factory and how they could be useful on my projects.” JS, Data analyst
“It provides a lot of hands-on practice. Very easy to follow and understand!” YL, Senior data analyst
