Global intergovernmental organisation receive foundation in OBIEE

A global intergovernmental organisation received a training course to educate the delegates on OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition), which will be used to standardise reporting.

OBIEE is an important tool for the organisation because it is able to withstand Multilanguage reports that can be created with data, which is a necessity for this organisation with the global interaction it harbours. Furthermore, the organisation requires OBIEE to integrate major data sources from other intergovernmental organisations and authorities into different dashboards for the sake of tracking KPI (key performance indicators) and informing management. Moreover, the organisation uses the real-time data updating and integration with third party vendors such as Microsoft apps so that they can be analysed.

In collaboration with JBI Training a 4 day training course was tailor made to the intergovernmental organisation, which utilised data and real life scenarios to maximise the influence the course had on the delegates. Due to the usage of OBIEE by the organisation, several learning objectives were set to ensure the full required information was taught:

• Understanding how to work with Oracle BI analyses, specifically executing direct database analyses
• Using OBIEE to visualise data
• Using KPI to measure results
• Creating Oracle BI dashboards

The training course was ran remotely in the headquarters of this organisation for typically around 5 delegates. The feedback was extremely positive and further courses have been scheduled to train more employees.
