Power Automate course supplied to global computer software company

A global computer software company has recently requested training on Power Automate from JBI training.

Power Automate (formerly known as Microsoft Flow) is a cloud based Microsoft product that allows the business to automate workflows and business processes. Power Automate can also include attended and unattended Robotic Process automation. Power automate is an important product for the business because it creates low code solutions for end to end processes and sorts out common problems that employees find difficult, which are all simply customised.

Power Automate is mainly used to streamline daily business tasks such as automatically saving documents sent to Outlook or receiving notifications for important emails or events without needing to change the settings manually. Power Automate is also an important tool for the software company because it collects data from your business processes and relays them to your team, this reduces the chance of human errors in boring and repetitive tasks. The biggest asset to power automate is the time that it will save, enabling the employees to focus on more important tasks.

JBI provided a tailor made course for the computer software company that was condensed into 1 day, providing exercises dedicated to potential automations that the company may require in their day to day jobs. The instructor provided a course outline which would reach the objectives set to JBI for the course:

• Basic flow training
• Understanding Common Data Service and the contributions to power automate
• Utilising controls and data operations
• Developing knowledge on connectors to include customisable connectors
• Testing, deploying and troubleshooting flows
